Tickets Still Available for Volunteer Service Awards

The 2014 Fairfax County Volunteer Services Awards are this Friday, April 25.

Tickets are still available but selling fast for the 2014 Fairfax County Volunteer Services Awards ceremony. 

The awards ceremony, presented by Volunteer Fairfax, starts at 8 a.m. Friday, April 25 at the Waterford at Springfield, 6715 Commerce St. (Purchase tickets here.

The annual awards programs honors dozens of volunteers who have given thousands of hours in service to individuals, groups and organizations throughout Northern Virginia. (See the full list of 2014 Fairfax County Volunteer Services Awards nominees here.) 

This year, five people have been nominated for Lifetime Achievement Awards. Those people are Naila Alam, Kevin Bell, Ramona Watson Morrow, and Mel and Marge Youngwerth.

If you can’t attend the event, Volunteer Fairfax is accepting donations on the tickets page.
