Winter Weather Inspires Student to Write Poem: 'Snowy Vienna'

'It seems like the clouds are sewing a huge blanket for Vienna, but after a while, the sun takes away the blanket.'

(Editor's note: The following is a poem submitted to Vienna Patch, written by resident Arahat Chikkatur, a student at Wolftrap Elementary School in Vienna.)

'Snowy Vienna' by Arahat Chikkatur

When there is snow in Vienna, it looks like a big snow plains.

It seems like the clouds are sewing a huge blanket for Vienna, but after a while, the sun takes away the blanket.

The cold temperature makes everyone to go inside, but the fluffy white snow makes some people take a walk.

And some people would like to build a snowman.

If you look outside, you will see snow falling, roofs of houses covered with snow, roads covered with snow, and maybe snow plowers and a few snowmen.

What a nice view! Winter makes Vienna look nice.
