Weather forecast is for partly cloudy skies, 50 degrees Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Vienna.
The 67th annual Halloween parade returns Wednesday night, rain or shine, with the theme "Celebrating Music and Theatre thru the Decades." Vienna Mayor M. Jane Seeman will serve as Grand Marshal. Once again, the parade will feature the Washington Redskins Marching Band as a special guest.
All children are welcome to join the parade along Maple Avenue in costume, but must be accompanied by an adult. They should meet in the parking lot of Virginia Commerce Bank at 6:30 p.m. The parade begins at 7 p.m.

Each year, the Town recognizes parade winners before a Town Council meeting in November. The public is invited to attend and find out who won in each category. Judged categories include:
- Youth Band
- Float with Music
- Youth Performer
- Antique/Classic Vehicle
- Adult Band
- Float without Music
- Adult Performer
- Do not place any items on Maple Avenue prior to noon on the day of the parade.
- When placing items, do not put them in bus shelters as they need to be clear for bus users during the day. Items placed in bus shelters prior to 5 pm on the day of the event may be moved for the safety of bus users.
- Keep items off the sidewalks and benches so that pedestrians can walk and use the benches without having to move or walk over items.
- Secure all items to ensure that weather conditions do not cause them to blow into the roadway or sidewalks.
DVDs will be ready beginning Nov. 11 and can be picked up at the Community Center or mailed for an additional fee of $5. The cost is $10 each.
