Vienna Halloween Parade, Parties: Save These Dates

Here in Vienna, our Halloween Parade is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23. Registration has already closed for parade floats and groups, but children are welcome to walk in the parade.

Children who would like to walk in the parade should meet at 6:30 pm in the parking lot of Virginia Commerce Bank, 374 Maple Avenue E. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Vienna’s annual Halloween Party for kids ages 4 through 12will be on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street SE.  Admission is free. Come in costume! There will be carnival games, crafts and door prizes. The Vienna Parks and Recreation Department and Optimist Club of Vienna are the sponsors. There will be a Halloween Costume Party and Late Night Evening of Mild Fright for teenagers on Friday, October 25, at 3:30 p.m. at the Club Phoenix Teen Center located in the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street SE.  Admission is Free.  Attendees are invited to dress in costume.  There will be games, food, a costume contest and an age-appropriate Halloween movies. All grades (6th through 8th) are welcome to stay until 10 p.m.  For more information, call (703) 255-5721.
