Annual Caroling on the Town Green Returns Wednesday Night

Get into the holiday spirit with an old-fashioned singalong in Vienna. Hot beverages, warming stations provided. All ages welcome!

An increasingly popular holiday event that seems to grow larger and larger each year returns to Vienna Wednesday: Caroling on the Town Green.

The National Weather Service forecast for Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low of 27 degrees.

In its first year in 2011, it was quickly organized and attracted 150 carolers. The following year, 350 residents gathered to sing holiday songs.

This year, the Third Annual Caroling on the Town Green takes place Wednesday, starting at 6:30 p.m. at 144 Maple Avenue E. Residents of all ages are invited to come and sing some of their favorite holiday songs.

The event will feature hot beverages, marshmallows, warming stations and of course, your favorite holiday tunes. The event is free and open to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Donations are being accepted to benefit the Vienna Jammers, a local non-profit that provides a musical experience for children that enriches lives and builds community.

In case of inclement weather, meet at the Whole Foods Vienna on Maple Avenue.
