Fairfax County Crime Blotter: Laptop Stolen From Vienna Business

A look at Vienna-area incidents reported to the Fairfax County Police Department through Aug. 21.

The following incident information was obtained from the Activity Report provided by Fairfax County Police Department’s Public Information Office. The incidents included are at the discretion of the PIO and are not to be considered all-inclusive.

Fairfax County Police logged the following incidents in the McLean Police District, which includes Vienna, Merrifield, Dunn Loring, greater Falls Church, McLean, Tysons Corner and Great Falls. (See a map of the district here.)

    The report contains information for the week that ended Wednesday, Aug. 21. In that time across all of Fairfax County, police reported:

    • 29 charges related to domestic violence
    • 71 charges related to drugs
    • 59 charges related to DWIs.

    The following incidents occurred in the greater Vienna area. Addresses listed indicate block numbers, not necessarily a specific address. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate a conviction.

    Burglary, 8100 block of Quinn Terrace, Aug. 20, 2:45 a.m. A resident reported someone entered her home but nothing was stolen. Forced entry was made through a rear door.
