One Person Injured in Vienna House Fire
Fairfax County fire crews are investigating Wednesday blaze on Katie Bird Lane, off of Lawyers Road in Vienna.
One person was injured in an early afternoon fire Wednesday at a house on Katie Bird Lane in Vienna fire officials say.
A spokesman for the Fairfax County Fire Department told Patch the call for the fire came in around 12:40 p.m.
One person is being taken to a local hospital for injuries, the spokesman said.

There is not information available at this time about the extent of those injuries or whether other people were home at the time of the fire.
According to the Northern Virginia Fire Buffs Facebook page, the fire started in a detached garage.

The fire was knocked down by crews from the Vienna station; units from surrounding stations also responded, the spokesman said.
Officials are now on scene investigating; they have not determined the cause of the fire.
