Parking Argument at McDonald's Leads to Arrest

Man who allegedly took a woman's iPhone after she requested he park his vehicle "in proper fashion" charged with robbery and assault.

A man was arrested by Vienna Police last week after he allegedly took a woman's iPhone during a heated debate over a parking space at McDonald's.

Danis Essis Sedji, 45, of Annandale, is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center in connection with the incident.

Police responded to a report from a woman at 6:09 p.m.  Feb. 15 at the McDonald's at 280 Cedar Lane SE. She said she approached a man, Sedji, who was allegedly taking up two parking spots and "requested he park his vehicle in the proper fashion," police said.

Sedji allegedly became upset and took her iPhone.  

Police secured interview warrants for robbery and assault before interviewing both parties involved at the McDonald's. They later called Sedji back to Vienna Police Headquarters for more interviews.

There, Sedji was arrested and charged with robbery and assult. He remains at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
