Police Investigate Counterfeit Bills

Businesses report receiving fake $100 bills across town.

The Vienna Police Department is on the lookout for the source of a string of purchases made in the past week with counterfeit bills.

An employee of Walgreens Pharmacy reported at 7:11 p.m. Dec. 6 a male customer purchased something from the store with a $100 bill, which the store suspected was counterfeit.

The same man is believed to be using similar counterfeit $100 bills at other businesses across the Town of Vienna.
