Police Make Drug Bust in Outback Parking Lot

Four arrested after Tuesday incident on Maple Avenue

Vienna Police arrested two men and a woman Tuesday afternoon after allegedly witnessing a drug deal in the parking lot behind Outback Steakhouse.

Matthew Allen, 28, of Manassas; Sara Prados, 22, of Manassas; and Brennan Doocy, 20, of Vienna were charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

According to police, an officer noticed suspicious activity around 2:52 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot, located in the 300 block of Maple Avenue East.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and saw evidence of drug distribution.

After searching the vehicle on scene, the officer recovered more than a quarter pound of marijuana, police said, along with other drug paraphernalia.

A big thank you to the Vienna Police for doing all they can to keep Vienna drug free! Illegal drugs are a cancer on our society. There's nothing "recreational" about them. Anyone doubting it should ask the thousands of victims of Mexico's bloody drug wars.

you really are ignorant, if marijuana was legal, the drug cartels would not have any source of income and cease to exist. How about you ask the thousands of people with countless diseases benefiting from marijuana.

Gary, drug cartels hardly bother with pot -- cocaine, heroin,x, make much more money and are far more addictive. In some areas you can get a prescription for pot; these people were not using it for medical purposes, so your argument is ridiculous.

Your use of bad language to make a point makes you offensive and undermines your argument. Sticking with reason to make an argument is going to win over hearts. Nastiness only rallies those who already feel the same way.

You are naive if you do not know that grass is prevalent in the community and most 14 year olds can tell you more about drug effects -pro and con that a CVS pharmacist. That is one reason the younger generation outside their normal challenge to the status quo hold our society in contempt but they can play the game. They know that all that counts are test scores so cheating is rampant. They know the truth from experience with the major side effect of grass being the punishments handed out with the same do gooder attitude as that failed in prohibition - yet we drink and now again getting crazy about that too in VA as they try to turn the clock back to the good ole days of 1924. The only people who can come up with any rational reason for not legalizing and converting it from a tax drain to tax income and visibility - I believe are the liquor companies who fear the threat to their lucrative markets.

These people that were arrested were "hardly" selling it for/to cancer victims... I know for a fact that they have been aressted before... one is waiting his court date to his prior conviction... Talk about stupid.....They have all 3 been given numerous chances to clean up their lives...& chose the path of distruction... I hope the people that have been trying to help them get a better life wise up to that fact... they don't want help... I hope they all go to jail for a long time..
