Two area women in their 20s were arrested last week at a Vienna motel on drug charges, according to Vienna Police.

Vienna Police Officer Reedy responded to a call at the Wolftrap Motel, 430 Maple Ave. SW, for a reported medical emergency last Friday, Dec. 6 at 12 noon.

Once on the scene, the officer determined that both occupants of the room were in possession of illegal narcotics — heroin — and drug paraphernalia.

Officer Reedy arrested a 27-year-old woman from Ashburn and a 27-year-old woman from Vienna for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia.

Both women were transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where the Ashburn woman was held on a $1,000 bond and the Vienna woman was held on a $2,500 bond.

No word on what sort of medical emergency occurred. Patch will update this story with any additional information as it becomes available.
