Power Update: Dominion Starts Vienna Repairs

A list of crew locations Monday; 80 to 85 percent of outages will be restored by Tuesday night, company says

Dominion Power crews have started restoring power to some of the thousands of Vienna homes still without power Monday.

According to the company, crews are working on the following locations:

  • Hunter Station Road
  • Lawyers Road near Lydia Place
  • Old Courthouse Road and Drewlaine Drive
  • Windover Avenue and Lewis Street
  • Cedar Lane and Idylwood Road

While outages are spread across town, there are several neighborhoods with more than 1,000 homes without power, including more than 1,600 along Hunter Mill Road and about 1,034 customers near Trap and Beulah Road.

As of 11 a.m., 87,805 customers were without power in Fairfax County, according to Dominion's outage map.

Dominion Power is asking customers to make sure they have reported their power outage to 866-DOM-HELP (866-366-4357). Even if neighbors have reported the outage already, reporting your own home speeds the restoration process, the company said.
