Catalytic converters stolen from Koons Tysons Toyota

A grand jury indicted former Madison High School swim coach Noah Rucker this week on three felony counts of indecent liberties with a child while in a custodial or supervisory relationship, which will move the allegations forward to a trial.

Fairfax County Police are investigating a report of 24 stolen catalytic converters from Koons Tysons Toyota's storage lot, police said. 

Even before Tuesday's severe weather hit Northern Virginia, trees were knocked down in the Vienna Elementary School playground, barely missing the building and classroom windows.

What was slated as a forum for candidates vying for Virginia’s 11th congressional district turned into an impromptu debate between incumbent Gerry Connolly (D) and Republican candidate Col. (Ret) Chris Perkins.

The potential $500 billion in defense cuts looming in Washington took center stage Thursday at the Capital One Conference Center during the first of three debates between U.S. Senate candidates Tim Kaine and George Allen.

The Fairfax County School Board unanimously approved the creation of a 40-member committee charged with reviewing its student rights and responsibilities handbook Thursday, moving forward a months-long reform of its disciplinary process.
