Suspect in Stabbings May Be in Peru

Police pursuing extradition, Post reports.

The suspect wanted for a series of buttocks slashings has fled to his native Peru, a Fairfax County Police spokeswoman told the Washington Post.

"Authorities are exploring whether Johnny D. Guillen Pimentel, 40, can be extradited to stand trial in this country, but so far he has not been taken into custody, said Lucy Caldwell, a spokeswoman for the Fairfax County police," the Post reported.

The stabbings took place as women were shopping in stores in Fairfax County. The Fairfax County Police Department as the number of cases grew to nine.
