In the most recent crime report released by the Vienna Police, one item stands out this week that is a little more unusual than the average incident.

A Vienna resident who lives on the 600 block of Frederick Street SW reported to police that he and a neighbor have been involved in a "decades-long feud."

On Wednesday morning, at 11:45, the man called police about something his neighbor had done.

The resident reported that his neighbor had dumped grass clippings near his house in an effort to provoke him.

He stated he and his neighbor have been having ongoing neighbor disputes for several decades.

We're not experts, but we hear that grass clippings make for good mulch. Fairfax County offers tips on its Yard Waste page.

Tell us, do your neighbors do anything that pushes you over the edge? Also, if you were having a feud that lasted decades, would you move? And last but not least: What do you do with your grass clippings?

Security lights that shine continually are my biggest concern. I enjoy the darkness and night skies. These bright lights seem to block that out. What makes my neighbors to be so paranoid? if the lights were triggered by motion then I would look to what made them come on, but when the shine forever and light up my yard at same time, I block my windows and never would see if something was going on outside. This kind of takes away my night , it also takes away me being able to see to come to their rescue if needed. But to allow it to become a part of a feud, never, it just an inconvenience caused by an uncaring person. I consider them as insecure and paranoid. I really don't need a night light in my bedroom, thank you.
