Residents and passerbys watched an house on Park Street become engulfed in flames Saturday as the Fairfax County Fire Department hosted a live fire training exercise at the old home.

The all-day, hands-on training at the old home at 705 Park Street SE, held by the Fairfax County Fire&Rescue Department's Training Division, is "the most valuable and realistic training that we can provide to our uniformed members," Capt. Dave Barlow said.
