ASSAULT, 9500 block of Virginia Center Boulevard at 3:40 a.m. July 22. "An officer observed a man push through the turnstile at the station without paying the fare. He approached the individual who pushed past the officer and fled. Kevin Hinder, 23, of Maryland, was captured and charged with assault on law enforcement officer, failure to pay fare, and drunk in public."
