Vienna Fire Stations to Host Open Houses This Saturday

Vienna's new station, Wolftrap, will participate and host an "apparatus housing ceremony" Saturday.

Vienna residents will have an opportunity to tour Vienna area fire stations during an open house event this Saturday, Oct. 12.

Fire Prevention Week is this week (Oct. 6 to Oct. 12). All fire stations in the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department will host open houses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The newest Fairfax County fire and rescue station (No. 42, Wolftrap) will participate. The fire station is at 1315 Beulah Road in Vienna.

The Wolftrap crew will host an "apparatus housing ceremony" at 1 p.m. at the station. "The ceremony provides an opportunity for the crew to commission and receive the incoming fire engine into the newly opened firehouse," according to a Fairfax County Fire and Rescue department release.
