VPD Arrests, Nov. 23 to 30

The following arrest information was supplied by the Vienna Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Three people were arrested by the Vienna Police Department between Nov. 23 and 30.

  • During a traffic stop at 1:49 p.m. Nov. 24 on Maple Avenue, an officer learned the driver was wanted by the state of Florida. Police arrested John Phillip Stevenson, 40, of Leesburg, as a Fugitive from Justice based on the original charge for Felony Bad Check in Florida. Stevenson was held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
  • During a traffic stop at 12:38 a.m. Nov. 27 near Lawyers Road and Upham Place NW, an officer noticed a driver showed signs of impairment. After failing to complete several field sobriety tests, Mark Alden Waldrop, 21, of Mineral, Va. was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Waldrop was taken to the Vienna Police Station for a breath analysis, and then to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was formally charged. He was held on a $1,500.00 bond.
  • During a traffic stop at 1:34 a.m. Nov. 29, police noticed the driver was impaired. After failing to complete several field sobriety tests, Patricia Lynn Deleon, 48, of Vienna, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
    Deleon was as taken to the Vienna Police Station for a breath analysis, and then to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where she was formally charged. She was held on a $2,00.00 bond.
