A Vienna woman was charged with felony hit and run after witnesses copied her plate number when she struck another car while talking on her cell phone, injuring one person, police said.

Officers with the Vienna Police Department arrived at the accident on the 200 block of Old Courthouse Road NE at about 7 a.m. Thursday.

Witnesses informed the officers that the victim was traveling northbound down Old Courthouse Road NE when a car heading southbound crossed the double yellow lines, creating the collision. Witnesses told police the driver of the striking vehicle was talking on her cell phone and driving at a very fast speed when the accident occurred.

Witnesses were able to provide police with the license plate information, which eventually led to the arrest of Megan Maria Manetti, 22.
