Wolftrap Fire and Rescue Station Adding New Services July 1

The station will put into service a Tanker and Medic unit.

Fire and Rescue Station 42, Wolftrap, will put into service a Tanker and Medic unit, starting July 1, according to a news release from Fairfax County. 

The additional units will join the Engine Company and EMS Supervisor, providing more emergency and non-emergency services and capability for the Wolftrap community and surrounding area.

The station opened for service on Oct. 1, 2013. The additional units and staffing were delayed due to budget constraints.

The station is approximately 14,600 square feet, has four drive-through bays, and sits on six acres at 1315 Beulah Road in Vienna.
