A woman found herself staring at the locked doors of a closed restaurant last week — but instead of being locked outside, she was trapped in.
A customer at East Chateu Restaurant on Maple Avenue called police at 10:27 p.m. Tuesday after the restaurant had closed.
She told police she went to use the restroom, but when she returned, she discovered not only had the restaurant closed, but all employees had left. And she was locked inside.
The woman was eventually able to unlock the front door, but didn't want to leave the restaurant unlocked.
Police helped track down an employee of the restaurant, who returned to the eatery to lock the doors.
