Holton Brings Kaine Campaign to Vienna Home

Wife of Tim Kaine stumps for her husband, kicks off canvassing

Anne Holton dropped by the home of a Vienna resident to rev up volunteers and kick off a canvassing campaign for her husband's U.S. Senate run.

Holton's stop at the home of Bettina Lawton on Riviera Drive started a day of campaigning in Northern Virginia, during which she visited the Annandale Fall Festival and a campaign office in Alexandria.

"It is wonderful to see so many of you out here ready to knock on doors and talk to voters in your community about what is at stake in this race," said Holton, the wife of U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine (D). "We need more leaders like Tim in the Senate who know how to put partisanship aside and work together to break through the Washington gridlock to create more economic opportunities for all Virginians."
