Speak Out: Furloughed? What Are You Doing To Pass The Time?

It is the start of the second week of the government shutdown.

Patch wants to know: If you have been furloughed, what are you doing to pass the time? 

Several restaurants and stores have been offering "furlough freebies" the past week or so. Netflix stock jumped on Sept. 30. 

While the first couple of days off might have been fun and games, things could get real for many if the federal government continues to be closed — even though the U.S. House on Saturday approved back pay for affected workers.
