Have your say in the future of Tyson’s Corner at an upcoming public meeting.

On October 7, the Fairfax County Department of Planning and Zoning is hosting a public dialogue session on the Tyson’s Land Use plan.

The plan that outlines the future of Tyson’s Corner was originally developed in 2010. Officials envision a walkable, green urban center that takes full advantage of the four new Metro stations to open in the area.

At the October meeting, officials will give a presentation on the plan's implementation, urban design and land use.

The meeting is from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Spring Hill Elementary School on 8201 Lewinsville Road in McLean. Learn more about the comprehensive plan
