* The Hunter Mill Road bridge between Rt. 267 and Baron Cameron Ave: The road remains closed between Crowell Road and Chamberlain Drive, which means drivers need to find an alternate route from the toll road to Baron Cameron Ave. Repairs will be made to bridge approach and shoulder damage, as well as washed-out pavement.

. The eastbound lanes remain closed between Glade Drive and Mercator Drive.

Crews placed temporary steel plates over the weekend to open the left-turn lane and left through lane to traffic. Bids for a permanent repair contract are being taken next week for sinkhole repairs and pipe replacement, VDOT officials said.

VDOT is visiting nearby property owners where right of way may be needed, coordinating utility replacement with local companies, and working to mitigate environmental impacts at the project sites, said Morris.
