Air Conditioning Working Again At Madison High School

Full day of classes resumes after power outage

Students hoping for another shortened dayarrived to Madison High School on Wednesday disappointed: the air conditioning was working again.

"All is cool back at JMHS," Assistant Principal Yusef Azimi said.

Students were released at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, after administrators discovered that a weekend power outage shorted a controller on the school's energy management system, Azimi said. It disabled air conditioning units in more than half of the building.
