Madison High Students Surpass Goal for 2013 Canned Food Drive

Madison High School students made canned food drive history this past month. 

"The students' goal of 10,000 pounds was not only met, but surpassed with a grand total of 10,498 pounds," said Yusef Azimi, assistant principal.

"I would like to thank Mrs. Mary Ann Barton, Student Government Association sponsor, and the entire SGA for coordinating this drive," he said.

"Also, thanks to the third period teachers for their patience as well as their support," he said. "Additionally, many thanks to the entire community for answering the call to feed the hungry."

Top performers over the course of the drive were:

BIG CLASSES

1. Whitman 153.56666 points per student

2. Crescioli 132.703704 points per student

3. Thayer 53.517 points per student

 

SMALL CLASSES

1. Foarde 108 points per student

2. Williams/Henderson 41.9999 points per student
