Marshall High School Gymnasts Place First at Aloha Invitational

The GC Marshall High School Girls Varsity Gymnastics team took first place in the Silver Division at the 10th Annual Aloha Classic, held Saturday.

The GC Marshall High School Girls Varsity Gymnastics team took first place in the Silver Division at the 10th Annual Aloha Classic, held Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at Patriot High School in Nokesville.  

Marshall’s team score of 102.25 (out of a possible 120) placed them first out of seven teams in the Silver Division. Brooke Point (Stafford) placed second with 97.725 and North Stafford placed third with 97.175. 

Marshall Junior Morgan Stahl placed first on Vault, Beam, and Floor and second on Uneven Bars. Stahl also won the all-around competition with a total score of 37.0. Senior Elisabetta Ianetti took fifth on the vault, and senior Casey Howard placed fifth on floor exercise.

Marshall’s last meet of the regular season will be Wednesday at home against McLean, Fairfax and JEB Stuart.  Conference 13 Championships will take place at Mt. Vernon High School Monday, Feb. 3.
