Madison High School squad collects rings for undefeated 2011 season

Last spring, the Madison High School girls lacrosse team had done the unthinkable, outscoring their opponents 407-152 en route to a perfect 22-0 record and

On Friday night, that revered team reunited to officially collect their state championship rings, finally able to bear proof of a season in which they defeated every opponent.

The team's three graduated seniors returned for the ceremony during the halftime of Friday night's football game, with coach Amanda Counts looking on.
