Vienna Bike/Walk Challenge 2013: Day 4 Results
Hundreds of students prepare to wrap up the competition on Friday — a look at what schools are in the lead.
Vienna's Fifth Annual Bike/Walk Challenge once again brought out more than 1,000 kids on Thursday as students used their own two feet or wheels instead of cars or buses to get to school.
On the second to last day of the competition, which encourages students to make the activity part of their school routine, 1,115 students across the challenge's six elementary schools used other means of transportation to get to class.
Louise Archer Elementary had the most participants Thursday, with 259 kids walking or biking to school.

Wolftrap Elementary School has held on to the lead for the Challenge Cup, awarded to the school with the largest percentage increase in participants over last year's challenge, and the Biking Cup, for the school that has the largest percentage of overall participants biking.
Friday is the last day of the challenge. Last year's single-day record was 1,485 students — Vienna schools will try to break that record at the end of this week.
