Vienna Parks and Rec Offers Spanish Language Play Program for Babies, Toddlers

Amigos Play program is open to children ages 10 months up to 5 years.

They say that children have an easier time learning a new language than adults. Now's your chance to help your little one learn a new language.

The Vienna Parks and Recreation Departments
is offering Amigos Play, a Spanish immersion program for children ages 10 months to 5 years, on Wednesdays, April 30 through June 4, from 9:15 to 10 a.m. at the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street SE.

This program is ideal for families who want to expose or reinforce Spanish with their children in a fun way. Through music, movement, puppets and age appropriate activities, participants will be engaged in the language and parents will learn alongside their child. All levels of fluency are welcome.

The cost for six classes is $130 for residents and $162.50 for out of town participants. Parent or caregiver participation is required; siblings under 10 months of age may attend for free.

To register, visit www.viennava.gov. For more information on this program, contact Amigos Together at Amigos.Together.Classes@gmail.com
