No. 1 Alabama v. Virginia, Virginia Tech v. Brigham Young: Who to look for, lines, college football rankings and where to watch.

By Todd Richissin

Summer’s not even done cooking yet, but already it’s time for college football. Virginia’s teams are nowhere to be found among the top college football rankings, but that’s why they play the games, right?

The college betting lines, predictably, aren’t showing a lot of hope for Virginia Tech, 18-point underdogs to No. 1 Alabama. (See the game on ESPN at 5:30 Saturday.)

Virginia’s an underdog, too, but by only a field goal, to Brigham Young. (Game time is 3:30, and it’s on ESPN2.)
