Virginia Girls Lacrosse: Madison Moves on to Liberty District Final

A 22-3 win Tuesday sets up the Warhawks for a final against Langley High School.

On a cool and drizzly Tuesday evening, Madison High School's girls lacrosse team took a decisive 22-3 win over Thomas Jefferson High.

The win, in the quarter finals of the Liberty District playoffs, will help set the stage for a rematch of last year's Madison-Langley championship game, which Madison won 17-16.

In the semi-final night cap, the Langley girls defeated Stone Bridge 16-13, setting the stage for Langley to return to the finals.
