Vienna residents have another option for coffee in town with the opening of Caribou Coffee on Maple Avenue.
The new coffee house, located in the former KFC space at 332 Maple Avenue East, will feature a sitdown shop inside, along with a drive-thru for customers who want coffee on the run.
The location opening kicks off an expected 10 to 12 percent increase in shops through the end of the year. The company currently has 585 locations around the world.
"Joining a vibrant community like Vienna, where fans may not have had a
chance yet to sample the differentiated Caribou experience, feels like a great place to start," said Alfredo Martel, senior vice president of marketing and
product management, in a statement Wednesday.
The store says some of its décor will be inspired by the town, including a theatrical, Vienna-themed community table and “Grand Poobah” chair.
Customers can also win free drinks in the company's first-ever “Tweet-to-Win Free Drinks For a Year Sweepstakes" by using the hashtag #CaribouVienna through July 13.
Five “Tweet-to-Win Free Drinks For a Year Sweepstakes" will be announced at the store's official grand opening on July 14.
That Caffe Amouri is extremely expensive... I can't even afford Starbuck's anyway. I think the best coffee for the value is actually McDonald's!!
