Swimming: VAC Edges Oakton
Narrow victory helps Gators stay undefeated at top of Division II
The Vienna Aquatic Center Gators edged out the Oakton Otters 213 – 207 on Saturday in a home meet in Vienna, putting the team in first place in Division II of the Northern Virginia Swim League.
The Gators are undefeated this season, standing at 3-0.
Double winners from VAC were Leaya Ma, Julia Downing and Ella Galbraith . Single winners from VAC were Tess Wilhelm, Daniel Jacobs, Jack Galbraith, Ashley Shepard, Julia Capobianco, Tyler Johnson, Anna Keating, Kristin Haufler, Anna Sullivan and Morgan Rushforth.
