Viva!Vienna! —There's An App For That

Festival returns this year with new interactive feature

As one of Vienna's largest festivals returns this Memorial Day Weekend, residents will have questions about what roads are closed, where to park, how to buy tickets and which vendors are returning for a weekend of food, rides and fun.

Now, there's an app for that.

Android, iPhone and iPad users will be able to access festival information in real time using the app, designed by Jeff Bollettino, the owner of Vienna's School of Rock and the festival's entertainment chair.

It's also available on the web.

One of the more interactive features is the "Hot Deals and Alerts," which will give visitors real time information about everything from performance times to store specials. As of Thursday, special deals included free dog leashes and buy two, get one free sunglasses.

Going to the festival? handy and let us know on Facebook or Twitter, using the hashtag #vivavienna.

You can also follow Viva!Vienna! on Facebook.
