For more than 50 years, the Town of Vienna Police have kept the streets safe. The department headquarters, located just down the street from Town Hall, is home to 41 sworn police officers; 10 civilian officers; and a 10-member Police Auxiliary Unit. The town's Animal Warden also operates out of the building. The force offers home security for residents traveling on vacation; car seat inspections by appointment and personal safety classes for women, among other services. The officers also teach the D.A.R.E program to the area's elementary school children.
