Tim Kaine was sworn in Thursday as the newest Senator from Virginia. Vice President Joe Biden presided over the mock ceremony after the official swearing-in on the Senate floo. Anne Holton, Kaine's wife, proudly held a bible as her husband took his oath to serve as Virginia's junior Senator at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
