When you look around town, what do you see? Every week, we'll highlight people, places and events around Vienna in this spot. This week: Two new Vienna businesses recently celebrated their arrival in town with Grand Opening Festivities. Red Mango, at 431 W. Maple Suite A , sells self-serve frozen yogurt and smoothies. It had a grand opening event on April 29, with free frozen yogurt and a ribbon cutting. MyEyeDr also opened up a new location in Vienna on May 7 at 401 Maple Avenue West, with a celebration that featured face painting, balloon animals and more. At both events, Mayor Jane Seeman and other town officials cut the ceremonial ribbon. Click through our photo gallery for a glimpse of the action.

I stopped into My Eye Doctor for an emergency fix of my glasses that I totally smooshed while ripping weeds out of trees in my yard! The new office is really nice - huge! I look forward (he he) to getting new glasses soon. more ›
