Madison High presents play Friday and Saturday, and other local events

Friday Madison High School presents How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at 7:30 pm, 2500 James Madison Dr, Vienna, VA. Tickets are $10.00 The Frame Factory presents SIX ARTISTS ONCE AGAIN, with an opening reception from 4 to 9 p.m. today at The Frame Factory, 212 Dominion Rd NE. The exhibition and sale showcases paintings, drawings, sculpture, jewelry and artwork by local artists Jackie Elwell, Elaine Florimonte, Debbie Glakas, Lisa Neher, Sarah Swart and Barbara Wagner. The movie begins at 8:45 p.m. This week, the town is showing "How To Train Your Dragon". In case of poor weather conditions, call 703-255-7842 to check if the movie is still on. It's the last weekend for the 3rd Annual Art Silent Auction, sponsored by the Shepherd's Center of Oakton-Vienna and the Vienna Art Society. It's open through 4 p.m. today at 115 Pleasant Street. Santa Rides 2010 begin tonight
Boys and girls in Vienna must have been really good this year. Santa is returning for at least the sixth time, kicking off his annual rides through town on the firetruck tonight and hosting a breakfast at the Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday. Santa's rides through town were supposed to start Dec. 16, but were canceled because of the snow. His full schedule is here. He starts tonight in North East Vienna, in town and out Old Courthouse Road.
