Madison High School's boys swimming team capped off one of its best swimming seasons in recent memory Saturday with a second-place finish at the AAA Virginia State Swimming Championships, a performance that also included several impressive individual finishes. The Warhawks (192.50) finished just behind Robinson High School (218.50), according to early scores available on reachforthewall.com. Madison edged the Rams for the Northern Region Title just weeks earlier. The team, heavy on seniors, took its performance to a new level this year, after finishing third in the Northern Region and ninth in the state in 2012.
