Michael Gallagher, a Vienna staff engineer, picked for new position
The Town of Vienna named civil engineer Michael Gallagher as its new Deputy Director of Public Works on Wednesday, a role designed to help lead its largest department. Gallagher, 36, was selected from 60 applicants, Director of Public Works Dennis Johnson said in a statement. He'll focus on the town's water quality regulatory requirements, track regional public works issues and trends and help solve issues within the town's department. “Mr. Gallagher has experience working in the public sector engineering field and has thorough knowledge of the many stages of project management.
