ReplyReally? There are plenty of McDonald's from here to NC. I frankly think rest areas are a waste of money anyway. Shut them all down permanently. We'd save a lot of money and not lose a thing.

ReplyI went there once years ago. Have heard rumblings over the years about neglect and cruelty so have not gone back. I agree that the owner is also a problem and will not go back until the Zoo is sold to someone else who hopefully will do a better job running it.

So animal cruelty is fine with you, as long as you get to enjoy it?

On the article Is Pay Parking Coming to Reston Town Center?

ReplyOne of the benefits of living in the suburbs and not the city IS the free parking. When I lived in Arlington, I would purposely drive to Tysons to shop, rather than go to Pentagon City where I had to pay to park. It's a hassle to deal with even the $1-$2 fee, wait in line to pay, etc. I could easily find everything at RTC elsewhere without having to worry about parking. I pay enough when I shop and eat...I shouldn't have to pay to park as well. Bad, bad idea that will definitely affect how frequently I go to RTC!
