Elizabeth on Patch
Originally from Westchester County, New York, Elizabeth Vittori graduated from Trinity College in Washington, D.C. with a BA in Political Science.
She has lived in Northern Virginia since 1992 and has resided in the Clifton area with her husband and their three children since 2001.
Elizabeth worked in public relations and grassroots advocacy for several voluntary and trade associations, including the USO, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, and the American Statistical Association.
She serves on the boards of the Clifton Elementary PTA and the Friends of Community Schools and volunteers at two local elementary schools, sharing art appreciation and hands-on projects with students through the Greater Reston Arts Center's "Art in the Schools" program.
Elizabeth volunteers in several other capacities and advocates for her community on issues of local importance.
She spends summers in Maine with her family, kayaking and antique-hunting, and writing. She is an avid reader of historical fiction, biographies and short stories.
