‘Undercover Boss’ to Feature Donatos in Vienna
Donatos Chairman Jane Grote Abell joins local store associates in serving customers at Vienna location on Branch Road SE.
The CBS television show “Undercover Boss” will feature a Vienna location of Donatos pizza, subs and salads restaurant this Friday, Oct. 11.
The episode airs at 8 p.m. (ET) on CBS.

“I wanted to participate in ‘Undercover Boss’ to experience first-hand the inner workings of our company and to interact with our associates on the front line who make a difference for Donatos every day,” Abell said in a press release.
Donatos Pizza, at 126 Branch Road SE in Vienna, is hosting a viewing party Friday evening at 8 p.m. with giveaways and specials.

The premise of the show is that presidents, CEOs and executives of national chains don a disguise and act like a brand new employee at a local store. The management and other employees of the store have no idea who this new employee really is until the “reveal” at the end.
The show has won two Emmy Awards.
Donatos is based in Columbus, Ohio and has more than 150 stores nationwide. The other Fairfax-area location is at 10160 Fairfax Blvd.
