Tim Ma was nominated.

A Vienna chef is a nominee for “Rising Culinary Star of the Year” in the RAMMY awards.

Tim Ma, of Maple Avenue Restaurant, was among the restauranteurs up for the awards, which recognize excellence in the metro DC restaurant industry.

“It was great to be nominated. It kind of came as a surprise,” Ma said. “It’s great for a place like Vienna. You don’t really see many nominations this way.”
