Its finally summer! Time to dust off those running shoes!

Need some help?

Want to make sure your doing it right?

SAPT is coming to Caffe Amouri to do just that!

SAPT’s running workshop will include hands-on instruction for learning a dynamic warm-up routine to optimize your running efficiency, reduce your risk of injury and individualized tips on improving your running technique. Attendees will also be given the opportunity to have their own running form analyzed by professionals!

SAPT’s Coaches Steve and Gustavo will work with attendees to answer their individual questions and focus on their individual needs!

SAPT, or Student-Athlete and Adult Performance Training, is a privately owned corporation located in Fairfax, Va. Founded in July of 2007, SAPT is a comprehensive training company which focuses on improving athletic and intellectual success in youth, amateur, adult, and professional athletes.

Coach Steve is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) holding a degree in Science of Exercise and Nutrition from Virginia Tech. Originally pursuing a career in physical therapy, and working as a physical therapist aid in both Blacksburg and Northern Virginia, he realized the number of injuries seen in clinics could be drastically reduced if athletes received intelligent strength training and proper injury reduction strategies beforehand.

Gustavo "Goose" Osorio is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with 9 years of Track and Field Experience, 4 of which were spent as a NCAA Division I Decathlete for George Mason University (GMU). During his years competing for GMU, he was 2x CAA Decathlon Campion and was awarded All-East honors in 2012. Goose has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and is currently pursuing a master's degree in kinesiology at GMU. He thoroughly loves, and thrives on, coaching people of ages and backgrounds in any and all facets of running and strength training, be it distance running, sprinting, hurdling, jumping, or throwing.
